Submission Guidelines on Oxford Abstracts
Follow the three steps below to create your Oxford Abstracts account and submit your abstract. Please note that there is a €25 fee for abstract submission.
Step 1: Create an Oxford Abstracts account (if you don’t already have one)
- Create an Oxford Abstracts account with your email address (please use your institutional email address) and a password.
- Check your email for a verification message from Oxford Abstracts. Click the ‘Verify Email’ button in the email to confirm your address.
- Once your account is successfully created, you will receive a generic message prompting you to visit the conference website. Enter the Overshoot Conference Submission Form link into your browser to access the submission form.
Step 2: Complete the Overshoot Conference submission form
After creating your Oxford Abstracts account, you will be able to submit an abstract for consideration at the Overshoot Conference.

- Complete and submit your form.
If you need to make changes, click ‘Amend’ in the top right corner to return to the form for editing. When all fields are complete and you are satisfied with your submission, click ‘Payment’ to proceed to payment.
Step 3: Proceed to Payment
You have two payment options:
Option A: Pay with a PayPal Account
- Select “Pay with PayPal.”
- Log into your PayPal account.
- Confirm your payment.
- You will receive a payment confirmation from PayPal and will be able to download the invoice on your OxfordAbstracts dashboard.
Option B: Pay with a Credit or Debit Card (No PayPal Account Needed)
- Select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” on the PayPal payment page.
- Enter your card details and billing information.
- Confirm your payment.
- You will receive a payment confirmation and an invoice by email.
Please note: Please ensure that you complete all required fields in the submission form and pay the abstract submission fee. Only complete submissions with the abstract fee paid will be considered for review and assigned to a reviewer. Submissions that are incomplete or unpaid will not be reviewed.
If you do not complete all required fields or fail to pay the abstract submission fee, your submission will be marked as incomplete and will not be considered. In this case, you will receive an email notification informing you that your submission is incomplete. You will then have until the submission deadline (27 June 2025) to complete your submission.

How do I know if my submission is complete and will be considered?
You will receive a confirmation email called “Overshoot Conference – Successful submission” to the email address connected to your Oxford Abstracts account when your submission is complete.
Submission Requirements
- Each person can submit one abstract (200–500 words).
- References can be included by adding links directly within the text box. Please note that uploads are not possible.
- Only one submission per author is permitted.
- For co-authored papers or abstracts, only one author should complete the submission.
- Notifications regarding acceptance will be sent only to the individual who submitted the paper.
- Making edits after submitting is possible until the submission deadline.
Withdrawing your submission
To withdraw your paper, email us [email protected]. Once your request is processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
Please note that once your submission is deleted, it cannot be retrieved. If you decide to resubmit after withdrawal, you must start the submission process from the beginning, as long as the submission deadline has not passed.
